About VisaTrackr
What is this?
VisaTrackr shows Schengen visa processing progress for Indian applicants. We track how far embassies have gotten in processing applications — so if you applied on a certain date, you can see whether applications from your date have been dispatched back yet.
How does it work?
When VFS returns your passport after visa processing, they use a courier service. The courier tracking references follow a predictable pattern that includes your application city and date. We check public courier tracking pages to see which dates have active shipments — indicating that applications from those dates have been processed.
How accurate is this?
This data represents a sample, not the complete picture. We can detect dispatches that match known reference patterns, but we may not catch every single application. The “processed up to” date is the latest application date for which we found a dispatch — the actual frontier may be slightly ahead.
Think of it as a lower bound: if we show “processed up to Aug 7”, it means at least some Aug 7 applications have been dispatched. The embassy may have processed further, but we haven't detected it yet.
How often is data updated?
We update our data 4 times daily on weekdays — at 12pm, 4pm, 8pm, and 12am IST. Each scan covers a rolling 60-day window of application dates across all 19 tracked countries. The “last updated” timestamp on each dashboard shows when the most recent scan was completed.
